A new team at VMLYR Toronto was established to oversee the owned platform for Ford Canada. Our team's focus was to ensure the platform catered to Canadian consumers while being in line with the strategic vision of Global Ford.
Ford Owner Platform in North America has been in decline. Mobile engagement has flatten while desktop is in critical need to better align with customers. How might we provide Ford owners with the correct content, relevant to their specific vehicle and needs, at the most opportune times in their ownership journey?
The site lacks sufficient internal linking, making it difficult for users to discover related content and for search engines to crawl the site. The site has a large amount of duplicate or outdated content, which can be confusing and frustrating for owners
Promote multiple entry points that allow users to start their journey at a point that is most convenient to them. Design the owner IA to Crosslink support pages and the Astute Article database. This provides additional context and related information as they move through the site.
